Cape May Lewes Ferry
One of the nicest attractions around here is the Cape May Lewes Ferry which runs from Cape Henlopen, Delaware to Cape May, New Jersey. It is about an 85 minute ride from one Cape to the other and it has quite a few daily runs so you can spend some time in Cape May and return in the evening. When we can Wayne and I ride our bikes to the Ferry and have lunch on the dock while watching the passengers board and unload the Ferry. We hope to take a trip ourselves before we leave.
There also has been another ship docked at Lewes this summer that has been available for shorter rides.
When we took our bike ride to the Ferry last week this ship was no longer there. I guess some pirates came and took it away!
